FROZEN KIDS (GRADES 1 - 5) WINTERBREAK CAMP Frozen KIDS is a 30-minute adaptation of the 2018 Broadway musical, which was based on the 2013 Walt Disney Animation Studios film, written by Jennifer Lee and directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee. The production features all of the songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by the creators of the film score, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and EGOT-winner Robert Lopez. You'll love this fanciful and heartwarming stage adaptation of the celebrated animated film. Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love. Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as "Love Is an Open Door," "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?," and "Let It Go," as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production. Camp|TMP's Winter Break Camp is a one-week, musical theater intensive open to students in 1st-12th grades. In only one-week students will memorize lines, block the show, and learn all the music and choreography necessary to put on a musical. At the end of the week, the cast will perform twice for friends, family and community members. This abbreviated rehearsal process gives students an opportunity to experience the fast-paced nature of theater during their school vacation! All students are welcome from all school districts and home schools. WHAT TO EXPECT These intensive, week-long programs culminate with two performances of a fully-staged, Broadway-style musical. They are a great experience for both students who are experienced in theater, and those who are trying theater for the first time. This takes place from 9:00AM - 2:00PM the Saturday before camp begins. One of the greatest things about the camps offered at TMP is that every student is guaranteed a part in the show. Camp runs Wednesday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. There will be an afternoon and evening performance on Saturday. WHAT'S INCLUDED Students are supplied with a script and CD before camp begins. Some other perks include CampTMP t-shirts, two complimentary tickets to one of the performances, and a pizza party on the last day of rehearsal! Last, but not least, memories to last a lifetime, fun, and friendship! What could be better? Past Camp musicals include; Annie, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Fiddler on the Roof, Honk, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Sound of Music, and The Music Man.

Registrations are accepted until the class/camp is full or seven days prior to class/camp, whichever is first. Return checks are subject to a return check fee. A deposit of $75.00 per class/session is due at enrollment. Your registration must include the deposit. Final balances of tuition are due no later than 10 days before class/camp. Class Information: After your registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation via email including additional forms to complete if necessary. Most times these forms will be given out with scripts. Cancellation Policy: 7 days written notice is required to withdraw from class/camp for a full refund minus non-refundable deposit. 24-hours before camp begins, no refunds will be given. We reserve the right to cancel a class/camp if enrollment is insufficient. If this occurs, full tuition will be refunded. Photos taken during camp become the sole property of Tacoma Musical Playhouse and may be used for future publicity.
