SPRING Ballet with Eve Brindis
Ballet classes are cumulative, new students wishing to perform in our annual winter and spring performances, are required to enroll during the Fall and continue through Spring term. This allows dancers the opportunity to learn and practice ballet technique so that they are confident to perform by Spring term. Classes are pro rated if you begin after the first week of the session.A minimum of 3 students (levels 1-3) and 5 students (PreBallet 1 & 2) per class must be enrolled in order for a class to run**

PREPARTORY BALLET CLASSES
Creative Preschool Ballet (non-curriculum ballet)
Wednesdays, April 3 - June 5, 2024 + June 8th recital2:30-3:15 PM ----- Ages 3-4 ----- Tuition: $136
Creative Preschool Ballet is an introductory class to ballet, basic movement and dance for preschool aged students. Students will use scarves, hula hoops, wands and other props to play and dance while enhancing their motor skills and coordination. Your child will be introduced to stretching, taking turns dancing across the floor and story-telling. No dress code required.

PreBallet l
Mondays, April 1 - June 3, 2024 + June 8th recital3:30-4:15 PM ----- Ages 4- 5.5 ----- Tuition: $136
This is a fun, creative introduction to basic ballet movement. Emphasis is on coordination, rhythm, music, and mime using props, rhymes, stories and imagination. Your child will be galloping on a pony, leaping over puddles, and learning movements to accompany their favorite preschool songs! Students will learn basic ballet skills and terminology in a supportive and encouraging environment.

PreBallet ll
Wednesdays, April 3 - June 5, 2024 + June 8th recital3:30-4:15 PM ----- Ages 5.5-7 ----- Tuition: $136
This class transitions from the creative movement aspect of PreBallet l to an emphasis on the fundamentals of ballet. Basic ballet skills, terminology, rhythm, and coordination are taught, practiced, and developed through music and use of props in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Prerequisite Skills: PreBallet ll students must be able to skip and be willing to participate independently without parent.
BEGINNER BALLET CLASSES
Level l (Prerequisite: PreBallet ll)
Mondays, April 1 - June 3, 2024 + June 8th recital4:30-5:30 PM ---- Minimum age 6.5---- Tuition: $182
This class is for the novice as well as a transition from PreBallet to a more formal ballet class. The fundamentals of ballet and barre work are introduced as well as an emphasis on ballet class etiquette. Focus is on posture, stretching for flexibility, muscle strength, technique and musicality in a disciplined yet encouraging environment.
Prerequisite Skills: One year of Pre-Ballet or formal ballet experience required
Level ll & III (Prerequisite: Level l)
Wednesdays, April 3 - June 5, 2024 + June 8th recital4:30-5:30 PM ---- Minimum age 7.5 --- Tuition: $182
This is a formal ballet class for young students with ballet experience. Students participate in stretching, barre work and center floor work. They will further develop posture, muscle strength, flexibility, technique, and musicality in a disciplined yet encouraging environment. Dress code is required and hair should be secured back in a bun for class. No jewelry with the exception of stud earrings.
Prerequisite Skills: Ballet experience required. Students must have completed levels l and ll or have equivalent previous training and approval by instructor after placement class.
Tap I
Wednesdays, April 3 - June 5, 2024 + June 8th recital5:30-6:30 PM ----- Ages 8-13 ----- Tuition: $182
Tap I is a beginner level tap class focusing on rhythm, musicality and timing. Students will be introduced to tap technique and vocabulary through warmups, across the floor and choreography. Students should avoid baggy clothing and jewelry for class. Tap shoes required.
Musical Theatre Dance for Teens
Wednesdays, April 3 - June 5, 2024 + June 8th recital6:30-7:30 PM ----- Ages 12-18 ----- Tuition: $182
This class is for dancers ages 12 to 18 seeking basic technique outside of their regular musical theatre rehearsals. Students will focus on the fundamentals of basic jazz technique while building their musicality, story-telling and stage presence. This is a choreography-based curriculum using classic and contemporary music from Broadway musicals. Students should avoid baggy clothing and jewelry for class. Jazz shoes required.
Adult Beginning Ballet (18+)
Mondays, April 1 - June 3, 2024 (10 weeks)6:30-7:30 PM ----- Ages 18 + ----- Tuition: $182
Adult Beginning Ballet is for the absolute beginner interested in trying ballet in a supportive and welcoming environment. Students will be introduced to basic ballet technique and terminology through barre work and center work. They will gain a basic understanding of ballet posture and positions while building strength and flexibility. Form fitting clothing is strongly recommended, and ballet slippers are required.
