Show Information

Our favorite practically perfect nanny takes center stage in this Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious adventure based on the award-winning Broadway musical and classic Walt Disney film. The jack-of-all trades, Bert (Matthew Wangemann), introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane (Natalie Sorensen) and Michael (Max Danielson) have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins (Callie Roberts) arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it." This family musical features the delightful songs from the cherished Disney film including "A Spoonful of Sugar," "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," "Jolly Holiday," and "Step in Time." The production showcases the talents of 86 youth from Utah County, ages 7-17, from Center Stage Youth Performers (www.csyp.org). Directed by Lori Sanders. Musical Direction by Andrew Walsh. Choreographed by Kristen Bradley. A musical based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the Walt Disney film. Original Music and Lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman.
