This musical is a loving send-up of the 1960s, small-town America, teenagers, and rock & roll. Bye Bye Birdie remains as fresh and vibrant as ever. Teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie has been drafted into the army and as a farewell, the rock and roll star is scheduled to sing Albert Peterson's "One Last Kiss" and kiss a girl from Sweet Apple, Ohio live on the Ed Sullivan Show he chooses All-American girl Kim McAfee for the very public farewell kiss however Conrad's hip-thrusting makes more than one man in town uncomfortable, many of whom attempt to stop the show from happening. Featuring a tuneful high-energy score and a hilarious script, Birdie continues to thrill audiences around the world.

Hit songs include "Put on a Happy Face," "One Last Kiss," "One Boy," "A Lot of Livin' to Do," "Kids!" and "Rosie."
