Taquata - Mondays at 10 am. A hybrid class of Tabata in the water. Tabata is interval training. One interval consists of 20-30 seconds of work followed by 10-15 seconds of rest. There are 6-8 intervals in a round and 6-8 rounds to a class. We do a warm up before and cool down after for this 45-minute class. Taquata is great because you can work at your own pace; it is not rep based but time based. We always give 3 different levels of intensity and show modifications for all moves. This one gets you sweating in the water with a zero-impact cardio workout that is a blast! We use water weights, webbed gloves and tetra noodles and lots of fun equipment for added resistance and muscle building while protecting joints and ligaments. Tickets will be released at 9am each friday for the following week beginning in December. Dec 25 & Jan 1 no classes
